You can import CACAO v2 playbooks and MISP playbooks. The playbook format will be automatically detected on import.

How to import playbook

1. Go to the Knowledge Management System.
   • Click on either All, My Playbooks, Recent, Favourites, or Drafts from the sidebar menu.

1. Click the Import button.
   • The Import Playbook dialog box will appear.

1. Select the files to import.
   • Drag the files to the upload area or click on the upload area to open the file dialog. You can select as many files as you want at once.

1. Enable or Disable your preferred options (optional):
   • Save as a draft. By default, this option is disabled. You can enable it if you want to save the imported playbooks as draft.
   • Validate before importing. By default, this option is disabled. If enabled and any of the uploaded playbooks is invalid, the entire import operation will fail.
   • Generate new ID for each playbook. By default, this option is enabled. A new ID will be created for each imported playbook. It is advised not to disable that option.
2. Click the Import button.
   • All selected files will be imported.
   • If the import is successful, the imported playbooks will be added to your Knowledge Management System.
   • If an error happens, a message will appear indicating the error.

1. Once the import is successfully completed, you can go to the Knowledge Management System to view the newly imported playbooks.

Warning: The Import Playbook dialog box will not appear if you have exceeded your private playbook limits. You will see a warning instead.
